I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in North and South Carolina with over 25 years of experience in providing psychotherapy and acting director of Thrive Counseling Services. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds across various settings. These include outpatient therapy, intensive in-home services, school-based interventions, and psychiatric hospitals.
This diverse experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of human behavior and a wide range of therapeutic techniques. It has been my commitment to serve individuals from diverse backgrounds and to promote mental health and well-being within my community.
Furthermore, my years of working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds underscore my commitment to inclusivity and cultural competence in mental health care delivery. In a directorial capacity, I can advocate for equitable access to services and implement policies that address the diverse needs of our community.
Fun Fact: I am a mother to 2 boys, a dog, cat, guinea pig and ferret. I call it my zoo!
